Cradle Mountain Overland Track Tour

Overview

A classic bushwalk through the Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park - 8 Days and 7 Nights (1 night cabins/ 6 nights camping).

The Overland Track is one of the world's classic treks. Experience close encounters with wildlife unique to Tasmania in their wild habitats. Trek through relic Gondwanan forests and experience fabulous views over Tasmania's Wilderness World Heritage Area.

Experience a wide range of conditions and terrain that varies remarkably moment to moment and marvel at the sculpted landscape and vegetation they create.

This 8 day experience allows you time to explore mountain peaks, valleys and spectacular waterfalls off the main track.

This tour departs from and returns to Launceston, Tasmania. Central Launceston hotel pick up and transfers are available by request only.

This trip operates with a minimum of 3 people and a maximum of 10 people.

Session Time

This is an 8 day tour. The trip commences at 1.00pm on Day One. The trip concludes around 4.00pm back in Launceston on Day 8.

Guidelines & Restrictions

Minimum age for all participants is 14 years of age. A good level of fitness if required for this walk as it is considered Grade 4 (with self supported moderate to strenuous activities) and you will be carrying a backpack weighing approximately 15 kg.

Please note that we will be remote from modern technologies throughout the trip. Prior to departing, all walkers will need to sign a waiver.
