Overview
Join us for a 4 day tour of Tasmania and discover the highlights that you won't want to miss.
DAY 1 - Departing from Hobart, we start the trip with a visit to the Tasman Peninsula for a short walk and views over the Southern Ocean. Explore one of Tasmania's tourist hotspots - the Port Arthur Historic Site. Learn about the life of a convict in a place once considered Hell On Earth. Take the opportunity to view the site from aboard a cruise boat on the harbour, then sit back and relax as we make our way back to Hobart for the night.
DAY 2 - Today we head for the beaches via a short stop at the historic town of Ross. At Freycinet National Park, sink your feet into the pristine white sand and admire the world-famous beach at Wineglass Bay. Finish the day in sleepy Bicheno, home to the Little Penguins who return to their rookeries each night upon dark. We stay overnight in Bicheno.
DAY 3 - Soak up the coastal scenery along one of Australia's greatest journey's from Bicheno to St Helens. Stretch your legs and revitalise your senses with a peaceful beach walk at the Bay of Fires. Visit the rainforests and waterfall at St Columba Falls, before heading arriving in the colourful city of Launceston.
DAY 4 - Today we travel to one of Tasmania's stunning mountainous regions, the world heritage listed Cradle Mountain/Lake St Clair National Park. Immerse yourself in the rainforest surrounds on one of the many walking trails in the park. After a day of exploring, we then return to Launceston to conclude the tour.

Numbers
We limited this tour to only small numbers to ensure a more personalised tour. We use a 12 seater mini-bus for this tour.
Session Time
This tour is for 4 days. We depart at 7:30am on Day 1 and conclude at 6:00pm on Day 4.
Guidelines & Restrictions
The tour price includes 3 nights hostel accommodation (bedding included), 4 days fully guided tour, meals (2 x breakfast, 2 x lunch), tea & coffee, entry to Port Arthur, National Parks fees and hostel/hotel transfers.
Accommodation is in local hostels along the way, in a 4-6 bed dormitory room, with shared facilities. Prices are available for those that wish to upgrade to a twin/double or single occupancy room in a hostel, however they are subject to availability and often booked out during summer months.
Extra Info
Breakfast and Lunch are included for Day 2 and Day 3. All other meals are at your own expense throughout the trip. We offer scrumptious lunches to enjoy in the great outdoors. Vegetarians & carnivores are easily catered for, please advise your dietary requirements at the time of booking. For breakfast we supply cereals, fruit, toast, tea & coffee. If there's something you can't do without, just bring it with you! Children 8 - 15 years travel at concession prices.
