Overview
Join us on a full day double dive adventure to the world's largest single rock stack. Ball's Pyramid is the best diving Lord Howe Island has to offer. However as it is so isolated, being 15 miles south of the main island, this is weather dependant, and so not accessible every day, which adds to this being a day you will never forget.
The dive sites speak for themselves : "The Treasure Trove and The Aquarium." Ball's Pyramid has everything our sites around the main island do, however everything is bigger and more abundant.
We encounter large schools of fish and huge hard, soft and black corals, gorgonia, stingrays, turtles and sharks. We also encounter the rare Ballina Angelfish, which was thought to be extinct until we rediscovered it when we started diving there.
The depths are 22-35 metres. On the trip there and back we usually see dolphins as well. We also supply morning and afternoon tea as well as lunch.
This is a 6-8 hour trip with 2 x 1 hour dives and plenty of time for snorkelling over lunch.
This trip is for experienced divers.
