Highlander Food Trail Tour
Description
Food Trail Tours' day tour to Cairns Highlands (Atherton Tablelands) is a tropical food, wine and sightseeing extravaganza, where every stop you make during the day, is a different experience, and each has its own tastings.
There are also informative, guided farm tours, where you are able to interact with the owners and family members who run the small farm businesses, allowing you to immerse yourself in their lifestyles as you taste your way around the region.
Included are:
** Tastings at two tropical fruit wineries
** Coffee plantation tour - with tastings
** Macadamia plantation tour - with tastings
** A Tropical seafood lunch
** Dairy farm with a cheese factory and tasting.

The all inclusive lunch, features Barramundi, tropical fruits, salad, garlic bread and tropical fruit punch. If you can't eat seafood an alternatives are available.
You will be taken off the beaten track, down back roads, to private farms, and out of the way places, with exceptional produce. Conspicuous in their absence are the other coaches and the souvenir shops.

This activity departs Cairns and the Northern Beaches (excludes Port Douglas) and visits Mareeba, Tolga and Yungaburra, on the Cairns Highlands (Atherton Tablelands).
Participant Guidelines
People 17 years and under cannot be served alcohol. The coach does not have disabled lifting, or wheelchair facilities. Due to a duty of care toward our drivers, it is company policy, not to physically lift people.
Family Rate: 2 Adults and 2 Children
Child Rate: 4 - 14 years of age, inclusive.
Infants (0-3) . Travel free, but a seat must be allocated.

Booking Notes
Must be booked at least 6 days before activity.
Cancellation with less than 48 hours incurs a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellation with less than 7 days notice incurs a 10% cancellation fee. Ph: 4032 0322 to re-confirmed after arrival in Cairns, or 24 hours prior to tour departure. Hotel pick-up time will then be advised We DO NOT pick up from Port Douglas. A $3.00 fuel surcharge may apply, and is subject to change without notice. The surcharge charged is payable direct to the operator, when boarding the coach.
Session Length
The tour departs at 8:00am and returns at around 5:00pm Pick-up, and drop off times for your hotel, will vary. Please phone 4032 0322 after arrival in Cairns, re-confirm and your accommodation pick-up time will be advised.
Numbers on Day
Tours will operate with anywhere between 4 and 21 passengers
