Overview
Experience the best of both worlds with this combined Great Barrier Reef cruise and scenic helicopter flight.
Your adventure begins when you depart from Cairns on board our luxury cruiser that is known as one of the fastest trips to the outer edge of The Great Barrier Reef. This means you'll spend more time in the water and less time travelling.
Once we arrive at the outer reef, enjoy a range of activities including snorkelling, glass bottom boat and semi-sub tours as well as the option to scuba dive if you wish (additional extra cost to be paid on the day). We will visit 2 reef locations to allow you to see as much of the reef as possible.
Enjoy a delicious lunch including an Aussie BBQ of prawns, fish, steak, sausages as well as tropical salads and pastas. There is also plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits, a complimentary glass of wine as well as cheese and a tasty fruit platter.
Your day concludes with an awesome helicopter scenic flight over five reef locations before arriving back in Cairns.

Cairns (Cairns and Tropical North QLD - Queensland)
This activity departs from and returns to Cairns and takes place on the Great Barrier Reef. Accommodation transfers from Cairns CBD, Northern Beaches or Port Douglas can be arranged for an additional cost.

Numbers
Our vessel can take a maximum of 130 passengers. The helicopter operates with a maximum of 6 people.
Session Time
This tour operates daily and departs at 8am. We spend approximately 5 hours on the Great Barrier Reef. The helicopter flight is 25 minutes. You will arrive back in Cairns at approximately 4pm.
Guidelines & Restrictions
Weight and medical restrictions apply. Children must be accompanied at all times. Remember to bring a towel, swim wear, sun screen, hat, camera, sun glasses and money.
The tour may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make the flying dangerous. Please call the centre if in doubt. Any cancelled experiences will be rescheduled for a later date subject to availability. A $20 Reef Tax per person is payable onboard.
Extra Info
Individual passenger weights are required at the time of booking. You can complete an intro dive session for an extra $65 if you have never scuba dived. 7:45am check-in at the Reef Fleet Terminal, Marlin Marina.
