Overview
We depart from Marina Mirage at 9.00am and arrive at the outer Great Barrier Reef at about 10.30am to have morning tea. We then visit 3 breathtaking sites for snorkelling as you enjoy the wonders of the largest collection of coral reefs in the world. We provide you with quality dive and snorkel gear, wetsuits, lycra suits, prescription masks, flotation devices. In addition we provide you with professional supervision, comprehensive snorkelling safety brief, tuition and guided snorkel tour. We also offer flotation devices and in-water assistance if required. This experience caters for non-swimmers and first time snorkellers.
After snorkelling you''ll enjoy a well deserved tropical buffet lunch before one of our experienced and helpful crew members hosts an interpretive Reef Chat. On board there are hot fresh water showers. We then have afternoon tea before departing the reef at 3.00pm and returning to the Marina at 4.30pm.
Location
Port Douglas (Cairns and Tropical North QLD - Queensland)
Complementary hotel transfers are available from the Port Douglas area. Return transfers from other locations can be arranged however they will incur an additional fee - Cairns ($30 per person) and Palm Cove ($20 per person). These fees will be made payable on the day of travel.

Vessels take a maximum of around 65 passengers per day
Session Time
We board at 8.40am for a 9.00am departure and spend 5 hours at the reef. You will have the opportunity to snorkel at three different sites throughout the day. We spend about 1.5 hours at each site. We return to marina at 4.30pm.
Guidelines & Restrictions
Asthma & some medical conditions will prevent you from diving without a Queensland dive medical. Child rates apply to those aged 4-14 yrs inclusive.

Please note a $5 Environmental Management Charge is payable per person on the day of travel.

It is recommended that you consider GoDo Cancellation Cover. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Cancellation Cover provider.
