Rapid Bay Caves and Cliffs Kayaking Adventure
Description
Come try sea kayaking this summer. It's easy, adventurous and fun! Our Rapid Bay Caves and Cliffs Adventure is an excellent way to start. No experience necessary. All you need is general health and fitness and a sense of adventure! The tour begins at Rapid Bay on the lower Fleurieu Peninsula about 80 Km south of Adelaide. Here the rugged coastline is spectacular with towering cliffs and crystal clear water, a great place for a sea kayaking adventure. We meet you on the beach and after a run down on safe paddling and fitting of the gear we are off to visit isolated beaches and mysterious sea caves. Sea kayaking is not only great for your health it is also the most environmentally friendly way to interact with this environment and it's inhabitants. You can also meet the locals; a growing colony of seals that are always keen to make new friends. This area has numerous small beaches to stop off and explore. Swimming and snorkelling are optional activities. We will provide quality double sea kayaks, comfortable buoyancy vests and friendly guidance that will make the experience both safe and great fun. Our guides have extensive experience and are accredited Sea Kayak Instructors. The tour fee includes all kayaking equipment, guidance, lunch and non-alcoholic drinks. Lunch is a BBQ on a beautiful, isolated sandy beach, only accessible by small boat. This includes meat, chicken and seafood and fresh salads. We pride ourselves on offering fresh, local produce and can cater for special dietary requirements on request. Full details of the day's adventure will be provided upon receiving your booking.

Participant Guidelines
This tour requires sound basic fitness. No specific kayaking experience is required. The tour may not be suitable for children under the age of 15yrs.
Lunch is provided in the tour fee. Lunch is a gormet, build your own sandwich.

Must be booked at least 1 week before activity.
This tour is weather dependant. Should the tour be cancelled due to inclement weather you can transfer your booking to a subsequent tour, another of our sensational kayaking tours, or receives a refund (minus booking agent's fee). Transport from Adelaide can also be provided. Please enquire for dates other than those advertised.
Session Length
Full day 9am - 4pm. In the morning we visit a growing seal colony to the south of Rapid Bay. We return to the township for for a short stop then onto a remote beach for lunch which we provide. We pride ourselves on offering a wide variety of fresh foods to suit all palates.
