1 Day Uluru Adventure A2
Description
Highlights * Uluru (Ayers Rock) * Kata Tjuta (Olgas)
Travel south from Alice Springs, passing through the West MacDonnell Ranges. Pause at Jim's Place for a breakfast stop (own expense). Stop at the Atila (Mt. Conner) lookout and enjoy morning tea. Travel on to Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park. Join a base tour of Uluru, including a guided walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole where you can view Aboriginal rock paintings. Visit the Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre and learn more about the Tjukurpa (law) of the Anangu people. Enjoy lunch at the centres cafeteria. (own expense) There may be time to climb Uluru (conditions permitting). Visit Kata Tjuta, where you can take a walk between the massive domes at Walpa Gorge. Travel back to the Uluru sunset viewing area. Witness the sunset and the changing colours of Uluru whilst sipping sparkling wine or juice, followed by a sunset buffet dinner. After dinner, relax and enjoy the return trip to Alice Springs. A snack stop (own expense) will be made en route.

All tours depart from Alice Springs Day Tour. We also offer a complimentary hotel pick-up which can be organised upon booking confirmation.
Participant Guidelines
Reasonable level of fitness required. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring sun protection. It is recommended that you carry with you plenty of drinking water.
Note: Anangu, Traditional Owners, would prefer that visitors choose not to climb Uluru. The Uluru climb may be closed without notice due to weather or cultural reasons.

Must be booked at least 2 days before activity.
National Park entry fee of $25 not included. Payable on day of departure, valid for 3 consecutive days.
Session Length
This is a 5 hour tour. Departs: 6.30am Daily from Alice Springs. Returns: 11.30pm approximately to Alice Springs
Numbers on Day
Minimum numbers are 15 and maximum numbers are 45 people.
